Brief History
We owe our success to you mainly because you have trusted us with your business even as we were just starting to learn the ropes of the industry a few years ago as a small medical transcription school. Then known as IVEN Edutech Inc., the company was founded in 2006 by a small group of family members and friends coming from diverse backgrounds brought together by one goal – to provide the growing medical transcription industry in the
IVEN Edutech mainly offered medical transcription course accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, the government agency that grants accreditation to an institution to offer Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs. The school also hired some of the best people in the medical field to educate and train its students. Its faculty of professional medical instructors came from various disciplines including surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics and dentistry.
However, it did not take long before IVEN Edutech Inc. saw an opportunity to expand its business and create a synergy that would efficiently utilize the skills of its graduates. The following year in 2007, IVEN Edutech Inc. incorporated a new company, AVEN Transcription and Technology Solutions Inc. marking its foray in the medical transcription industry. The company also opened its own HIPAA-compliant production facility and became a member of the Medical Transcription Industry Association of the Philippines, Inc. (MTIAPI) all in the same year.
From an initial capacity of five seats processing overflow work of 50,000 lines per month, AVEN Transcription and Technology Solutions Inc. eventually found its niche and gained a steady client base. Today, our company regularly processes more than 245,000 lines per month scalable up to 408,000 lines during peak season. Aside from medical transcription, our company diversified to other non-voice services such as legal, business, media and general transcription.
